Today
Got in a really nice lunchtime walk — an easy 1.5 miles in 22 minutes. Not too hard of a workout that I sweat too much and stink up the office, but fast enough to feel like I did something. My friend had to cancel our Zumba date tonight, but I’ll still go. It’s fun and gets me movin’ different muscles than my running/elliptical/stairclimber workouts. But first, it’s off to after-work drinks with the girls. A nice, small glass of white wine is calling my name.
How is Zumba? That’s something I think I’d like to try, if only I can get into a class that doesn’t occur while I’m working…
I love Zumba! I try to get to a class at my gym once a week… it’s not as intense as my bhangra class, but still gets the heart pumping. Plus, I think it’s helping me become slightly more coordinated with a minor sense of rhythm. And it does help me utilize more muscles, especially hips and thighs.
